Owner. Dr. Renee Himes. Chief Veterinarian, Dr Himes attended UCLA and graduated from the School of Veterinary Medicine at Tuskegee University, Tuskegee Institute, Alabama. Dr. Himes is a member of the California Medical Association as well as the American Veterinary Medical Association. To assist in the diagnoses and management of difficult cases, Dr. Himes maintains an active relationship with local specialists in the fields of dermatology, radiology, cardiology, diagnostic imaging, ophthalmology, neurology, and oncology. .Dr. Himes emphasizes preventative medicine to her clients in hopes of preventing a "doggone or a catastrophe."       Dr. Himes is the mother of a twenty-year old daughter, plays the harp, and enjoys salsa dancing, and skiing. Relief Veterinarian. Dr. Leslie Moore, has given loving pet care at Ladera Pet Clinic for over five years. She is a native of Los Angeles and a graduate of the School of Veterinary Medicine at UCD. Dr. Moore is a writer of fiction and during her leisure time enjoys world traveling, and the art of belly dancing. Our Veterinary Assistants are: Juan Menendez- - For more than seven years, Juan, our Quality Control Officer,  has administered skilled and loving treatment to the pets of Ladera Clinic. He is proud of his three pets; a mixed chow, a shit su, and a shelter rescue. Kristen May- - an expert at delivering technical services to Ladera pets. Kristen also serves as Office Manager in charge of human resources and staff scheduling. In her spare time she does pencil drawings, collages and photography. Clifton Brown - - A competent assistant, is also responsible for promotion, advertising, and marketing. He enjoys fishing and the responsibility of being a great dad to three daughters and a son.
